Review by hotel critic
The stunning Victorian Highland lodge is located in the heart of the city, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. the villa itself is beautifully decorated and has a charming terrace with garden views. My room was cozy and comfortable, with classic hotel bedding and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of my trip was the large garden with various seating areas, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine in the evening. the free superfast Wi-Fi was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my visit. I also loved the Cook's Room on the ground floor, which featured a separate free-standing bath - perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The location of Laird's Lodge is ideal, with the River Ness just a ten minute walk away and the Ness Islands even closer. I took advantage of the winding walks and boating pond, soaking in the natural beauty of the area. And if you're looking for a bit of culture, the Eden Court Theatre is just a short drive away. Overall, my stay at Laird's Lodge was unforgettable. the combination of luxurious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and warm hospitality made it a trip to remember. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat in the Highlands.
